AKKADIA – HUNTERS OF THE SUNKEN TREASURES

by AKKADIA - 13. Jun 2021

THE SUNKEN CITY OF AKKAD

Our company name is derived from the history of the city of Akkad. Founded in the late 3rd millennium BC in Mesopotamia, the land between the Euphrates and Tigris, it was the capital of the Akkadian Empire and the ultimate trade center. The actions of its founder and ruler, Sargon of Akkad, opened up cultural and economic connections that were entirely new and innovative for that time. The existence of the city of Akkad is undoubtedly proven, but despite extensive searches, it has not been found to this day. It is suspected that climate changes in the form of a prolonged dry period forced the inhabitants to flee 4,200 years ago, ultimately leading to the empire's disappearance. The city of Akkad is therefore literally hidden in a fog of sand.

WE CLEAR THE FOG IN THE REAL ESTATE JUNGLE

Nowadays, the modern world forces companies to change and break away from traditional working methods – just like it happened in the city of Akkad back then. The founding of the city set a sign for a new order – and it is precisely this new spatial structure that AKKADIA has taken as a model. We have made it our mission to clear the fog of the real estate world for you: whether it’s a new apartment, a renovated historical building in a central location, or a penthouse with a view – AKKADIA searches for and finds sunken treasures and brings them to the surface. As a project developer, we move from hunter to caretaker – the renovation and preservation of valuable historical building substance is close to our hearts – contemporary new construction is also a concern for us. This way, you can fully concentrate on your new apartment, your good investment, or the planning of your new development.
